Mr. Clean Eraser left long noticeable smudge on my flat paint wall, how do I get rid of that?

I used the eraser with a bit of water on it as it suggested and I guess that is what left the smudge because the mark wasn’t coming off w/o the water……I need help, repainting is not an option.

Repainting is the ONLY option, unless you have some of the original paint left to do a basic touch up on the spot..The mr clean erasers have cautions on the label on certain products..I have seen alot of people suggest using them on items that they are not supposed to be used on..such as clear coats eg varnish/poly/lacquer etc..The erasers will flatten out the finishes and even melt them off on some…
